fern moss is a tiny, independent studio. We're working on a handful of apps, quiet ones about nature, sleep, memory and the slow work of making things. Each one is shaped by hand and meant to be lived with.
We started fern moss because the kind of software we wanted in our own lives seemed rare. Software that sits quietly on on your device, that wouldn't ping or rank or measure, that would feel more like a small, warm object than a product.
So we make them ourselves. One at a time. By hand. Each one about something that matters to us: reconnecting with nature, a night of sleep, embracing creativity, the feeling of noticing the beauty all around us. We release when they are ready, not before.
Each app is a single, honest idea. No accounts unless you want one. No notifications unless you ask. Your data stays with you, where it belongs.
